East evening the Dominion Meteorologist telegraphed tho following woatho. summary and forecast:— The cyclonic disturbance which has passed ofl the East Coast has caused heavy soas to-day, hut a westerly disturbance is now in evidence in the south. Westerly and northerly breezes have predominated and fair weather has ruled with increasing cloudiness generally. Present indications arc for increasing northerly aid westerly winds, skies clou ding over and rain later. Tho barometer has a falling tendency everywhere, hut probably rising ih the south after from 24 to 3(5 hours.
