PATRIOTIC CONCERT.
A IIP.IIJ.I'.NT SI'CCKSy. An enthusiastic audience crowded tin. Princess Theatre to the doors last even ing when the concert in aid of the Westland Sick and Wounded Soldiers’ ]■ and look place. The entertainment which was organised by the Sisters of iVferey, was made up of items contributed by the school children and the adult music pupils of St. C’olumbkille’s ■Convent, and the brilliant success achieved .‘■peaks volumes for the tram, ing which the pupils have received. Thp night was a perfect one, and motors, coaches and other conveyances brought in large numbers of visitors. The following programme was given, encores being frequent throughout. A one-act farce entitled, “Mrs Willis’s Will.” in which the characters were rm-t.iinod hv the school children and the singing ef the National Anthem concluded a very successful entertainment. The accompanists throughout the evening were Misros Devaney. Giese "nd Stopforth. The taking.-, at Ihe doors together with other sums obtained in the theatre and by the sale of tickets outside, should result in a most handroute addition to the fund, and for this fine result the Sisters of Mercy and the performers are to he heartily congratulated.
