MAJOR WM. (HUNT. WELLINGTON, Sept. C. News has been received that Chap-lain-Major Win. Grant, senior Presbyterian chaplain to the main, force, was killed at the Dardanelles on August 28th. He was a native of Ormondville and 56' years of age. He had been stationed at Now Plymouth, Leoston and Gisborne at various times. He leaves a widow and five children, two sons being at the front.
