WEDDING BELLS.

GREYMOUTH. Nov. 19. ' Very pleasing nuptial ceremonies took place at eight o’clock this morning at St. John’s Presbyterian Church,, when two popular couples in Greymouth were united in the holy bonds, of matrimony. Tho Church was beautifully decorated with a floral arch, of lilies, roses and ivy leaves from the. centre of which hung a largo marriage, bell decorated with cream rose buds, tho decorations being carried out by members of St. John’s choir. . Therewas a largo gathering of the friends, of the contracting parties and the service which was fully choral, was conducted by the Rev. Wm. Trotter, St.John’s choir loading in the music,. Mr. Eric Stoss presidng at the organ. WILKINSON—MASON.. The contracting parties were Mr.. Robert Charles Wilkinson, of Dunedin,, to Miss Elsie Margaret Mason, second, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Mason, of Shakespeare Street, Miss Mabel -Mason.-acting as bridesmaid, and AL-. James Mason as best man.. The. bride was* attired in a tailor-made-costume of vieux rose, wore a Dolly Yardon bat relieved with pink, and. carried a. shower bouquet. The bridesmaid’s present was a gold cable bangle and Southern Cross brooch. FRASER—MASON. The other happy couple were Mr. William David Fraser, of Dunedin, to Miss Ester Sarah Mason, third daughter of Air. and Airs. William Afason. of Shakespeare Street. Aliss Coralio. Mason was bridesmaid and Mr- A. D-all best man. The bride’s dress was Mi. tailor-made costume of saxo-blue, mushroom hat, and she carried a beautiful bouquet. Tho brides wore given away by their father, and the couples left tho church amidst showers of congratulations and. best -wishes for their 'future happi l ness from their many friends. After tho ceremony the guests were entertained at tho residence of the bride’s parents, where the wedding breakfast was provided and the usual toasts duly honoured.

Both couples subsequently loft on their marriage tour to Christchni ch ami Dunedin, and received a" hearty s end-uff amidst B howcrs of confetti and rice at the railway station, and the firing of detonators as the Otira express pulled put of the,station, both bridegrooms being highly esteemed members of tho Railway Department,
