IP presenlative Smith (Maryland) introduced a resolution agreeing, on the United States' behalf, to tho transfer of south-eastern Alaska to Canada provided Great liritain should allow the repeal of the llay-l’anneefote Treaty.
Air. Smith previously favoured the transfer of the Alaska district in order to celebrate the Hundred Years' Peace between Rritain and America.
It is not thought that the resolution has any chaneo of adoption.
