Witnesses before the House of Commons Cigarette Bill Enquiry asserted thai most of the society women throughout- the Canadian cities were confirmed cigarette smokers and the habit increased to an alarming extent. Of three thousand delinquent children, sixty-five per cent, used cigarettes. Suggestions were made to the Committee to prevent the use of tobacco to levs and girls throghout Canada.
