LABOUR'S INTENTIONS. [rat FBEBa ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT.] LOXDOX. Feb. IG. The Hon. John Rums in a spoeolf at Suekport, said he did not anticipate a general election for eighteen months. The Labour Party intended the present session to introduce amendments more often than any other than make the demands in connection therewith. If the Government met them by a proposal they would withdraw the amendment. It the Tories opposed the withdrawal the Labourites would vote against them and their own amendments. He added that unless the Labourites got the concessions the amendments would be carried to the division. Ho appealed for a stUl stronger Labour Party,- contending that with one hundred members the Party’s object would he to rule the House of Commons and turn out the Government and enter office.
