N.S.W WALKS LABOUR GOVERNMENT.
ONE MINISTER TURNED DOWN,

The Labour Caucus ballot election for the new labour Ministry resulted in the choice of Mr. A. C. Carmichael, Mr A. Griffith, Mr. W. A. Holman, Mr. F. Flowers, Mr J. Trefle, if r. J. H. Cann, Mr. I).' R. Hall, Mr. Estell, Mr. Boyle, Mr. Ashford. The three last named are all new men. Mr. J. S. S. McGowen (ex-Premier) did not seek reelection, while Mr. A. Edden (ex-M:n-ister of Mines) was defeated. Mr. iV. A. Holman allots portfolios.
LENGTHY SITTING OP CAUCUS. SYDNEY, Jan. 28. The caucus sat for seven hours and indulged La exhaustive balloting in the election of the Ministry. Extraordinary precautions were made to exclude ■the press.
