The Federal Prime Minister (the Hon. Joseph Cook) speaking at the Australian Natives’ Association luncheon, said that the problem of the Pacific was a big order. They must always look at the Pacific with an anxious eye and with a broad view. The problem itself was fraught with tremendous importance to this part of the Empire. He doubted whether any country in the world could rival the achievements of Australia . Could any other country say that it had’built up wealth amounting to £1.2o0,«00;000. i T’be Hon.
