Xbe Customs at Londonderry seized a quantity of bandoliers and haveri sacks consigned to a former Unionist parliamentary, candidate. PROTESTANT PROTEST. SYDNEY, Jan. 27. At a big ProtestanF demonstration resolutions were carried expressing loyalty to the Throne, solemnly protesting against the establishment of Home Rule in Ireland, and pledging themselves to stand by their compatriots in Ulster and in other parts of Ireland in the desperate defence now forced upon them. A copy of the resolution is to be forwarded to the King.
