TIMARU, April, 18. \ esterday there was a good attendance at the Temuka sports considering the wet conditions. In cycling G. McGloin (45yds) won the half-mile, L. V. Young (95yds) tho mile roadster, E. Wall (30yds) the mile, and P. Gillespie (50yds) the two miles. In the foot races the 120 yards was won by L. Childs (7yds), the 220 yds amateur by A. B. Hill (14yds), the 220 yds open by P. Anderson (13yds), tho 440 yds amateur by A. B. Hill (25) the 440 yds open by E. S. Dunsford, and the mile amateur by P. O’Grady (85). The track was heavy, and there were no good times. The high .lump was won by Cargo with sft’ Sin. Tho pole resulted in a tie between Hogan and Dalziel, with 10ft Sin nett.
