[ni ruasa association.—coptuxskx.] THE PELOTAS HAS A STORMY ' PASSAGE. ; SYDNEY, Aug. 3.—The barque Pelotas, bound to Sydney, put into Newcastle to-day short of provisions, after a stormy passiage lasting forty days. She was off Newcastle a week ago, but contrary winds drove her north. THREE WRECKS. ON THE BOLIVIAN COAST: LONDON, August 3. Stormy weather on the west coast of South America has wrecked three sailing vessels, including the Knynance and the Cavalier Lauro, both from Newcastle, Australia.
The vessels were driven ashore near the port of Tocopilla, in the province of Antofagasta ,in Bolivia.
The two vessels from Australia are not greatly damaged, and it will probably be possible to refloat them.
