HOKITIKA v. KANIERI.
The Hokitika Cricket team Journey-! Ed to Kanieri on Saturday last, to play a two innings match with the Kanieri eleven. Hokitika took the wickets first and were all disposed of for 50, Freebury (15) being top scorer. Kanieri followed and put up the respectable score of 77, Rose (23) coming out on top after a fair display of batting. Hokitika in their second • innings had lost three wickets for 41 when time was called. The match will be continued on the first vacant Saturday.
