INTERPROVINCIAL HOCKEY.
CHRISTCHURCH, September 5.—
The interprovincial hockey match, Canterbury v. Wanganui, was played at Sydonham Park this afternoon in the presence of a fair number of spectators. Canterbury had much the better of the game during the first spell, but the visitors showed better combination and put up an excellent performance. The game finished Canterbury four, Wangamui two.
