THE MATCH ABANDONED.
LONDON^, Sept. s.— Owing to the rain play did not start till 3.45. The wicket was soft.
The score was taken to 57 for the loss of one wicket when rain again set in and the match was abandoned.
Douglas (15) and Turner (32) were the men in when the game ceased. The bowling analysis was O'Connor 1 for 16; Cotter 0 for 31.
