SYDDNEY, Sept. 4.— The New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association's ultimatum regarding the Davis Cup has been received and it was decided that the N.S.W. Association could not resede from the position taken up at the last meeting, and the Secrettary was instructed to inform the New Zealand Association of the decision and to intimate that the way was still open for New Zealand to rejoin, and that the reason for the New Zealand Association's attitude should be stated, so that any misapprehension at presntt existing should be removed.
