AMERICAN MOTOR RACE.

NEW YORK, June 24.— An ocean to ocean motor race across the continent has just concluded. The cars started from New York at the beginning of the month. The real- racing did not commence till St. Louis Avas passed, in order to avoid infraction of the speed laws. The winner was a Ford car, which travelled from New York to Seattle, the winning point, in twenty-two days* fifty-five minutes.
