■»♦» . The weekly meeting of the above Union was held last night in the Club Room of the Albion Hotel, Greymouth. Present — Dr McKay (chair), Messrs D. McKay, J. Stenhouse, J. Sullivan, J. O'Rielly, S. Eddy, G. Hills, E. I. Lord) junr., J. Heffernan and M. Keating (sec). Resolved to disqualify R. Aherne from taking further part in fourth grade competition, until he produces certificate of age. The protest of the Grey Club in regards to the fourth grade match with Stars was upheld and the match was, awarded to Greys. Stars having played two men illegally. The Inter-Union fixture with Inangahua was confirmed for July 3rd. The Coast Rep. team for the above match will be selected on Saturday evening and posted in the Albion Hotel at 8.30 p.m. Resolved to inform the Nelson Unio.) that the proposed date of their tour is satisfactory. Resolved in the case of protests for over age in fourth grade competition that notice of protest giving names of players concerned be handed in within five days, and one month after last oid o^ paMOf[i& eg 'uoi^aduioo jo vpivvn duce proof. E. Chapman and M.' Houston were ordered to stand down for, two and one playing Saturdays respectively in connection with the incident in last Saturday's match. W. Thompson, of Ross, was ordered to stand down till the erid of the year for striking a Hokitika player in the junior fixture Hokitika v. Ross. A. Gooch, Hokitika, was re-classi-fied a junior. The applications of L. Goorh and E. Dowell, Hokitika, were refused. Layes, Heslin, Meharry and- Baird of Kokatahi, were reclassified to Presidents. The following referees were appointed for Saturday's matches- : — United v. Stars, Victoria Park, 3 p.m. — Mr Hales. Hokitika v. Grey, at Hokitika— Rer JUNIORS. Ccbden v. Stars, Rec, 3 p.m.— Mr O'Donnell. United v. Brunner, at BrUiiner— Mr Gage Htitika v. Arahura— Mr Shaw. PRESIDENTS. Star Ay. Cobrlen, at Cobden— -Mr Williams. Star v. United at Park, 1.30 p.m.— Mr Morrison. Star v. United at Park I.3o— Mr M. Keating. Hokitika v. Koiterengi— Mr Bonar.
