Mr Justice Chapman, on appeal quashed the conviction against Mr Brady, the Gisborne agent, for selling ','Book Gift" Tea with a coupon attached. •His Honour ruled that the system adopted by the proprietors of "Book Gift" Tea of giving coupons as a means of exchange for the books was perfectly legal and did not come withii the meaning of the Act.
