The ordinary meeting of the School Oomittee was held on Fiiday evening.

Present— Mes-rs H. W. Bandle, (cbair). H. Linklater, F. Martini, W. H.Teague, C; P. Heil and W. Mitchell ( jor) hon sec. MINOTES. The minutes of the previous meeting .were read and confirmed. CORRESPONDENCE. Outward correspondence was reid and approved and inward correspondence wss end and deals with as folloirst-r From Head Teacher reporting roll number for quarter ending March 31st to be 31, average 28.— Received. From Boird stating that t'ae sum t-f £20 ti has beea allocated to tbe commit' tee foi building purpose', for the ensuing year. — Received. From same stating that Mr A. J. Morton bad bten appointed to audit Commit tees' accounts, and requesting Committee to forward same.— Received. From same re election of new committee.—Received. The following resolutions were carried: That the action of the nnb-committe ia letting contract be approved ani that Mr Newrick's account £3 15 be recommended to the Board for payment. That the Treasurer's action in paying caretakers' aoconut be approved. That the secretary write to Mr T. W. Duff, conveying the Committee's best thanks for good work done by him while on the Committee. The secretary was instructed to draw dp the annual report for householders' meeting. Votes of thanks to the office bearers for work done on the Committee during the year, terminated the meeting.
