Princes9| Ena of Battenburg, the niece of King EJward, whe is betrothed to KiDg Alfonso of Spain, by whom she is at present being visited at Biarritz, near the Pyrinees, with his Majesty, and her mother proceeded to the town of Ssn Sebastian to visit Queen Maria Christina of Spain. The. Quean returned the visit at Biarritz.
[With reference to the contemplated marriage of tbe King of Spain and Princess Ena, which has attracted more than nsQftl attention in Europe, owing to tbe Princess being a Protestant, which, it was thought, woald be a barrier to the union, ihe Sydney Freeman's Journal says : - "Oar Borne correspondent, Dt Croke, L.
