Mr Henry Hunr, who went to the Wellington Hospital over 30 years ago, and daring that time had been only once out of the grounds, passed away at that institution a few days ago. The Princess Te Rangi Pai will give seveial songs in all of which she has achieved auccers before London audiences and blie will al-o sing a duet with Miss Solomon. The celebrated contralto will sin^f Jiraga's favourite serenade with orehe3tial accompaniment, a performance well worth hearing and she will also give '• Thb Beating of My Own Heart," a song she has made peculiarly her owd. The Orchestral Society will play several delightful numbers which will be a treat to hear. Already ther9 is a demand for tickets lor the concert so that an exceptionally large audience miy be anticipated.

We acknowledge with thanks a copy of Pears' Annual for 1905 from the Gordon and Gotch Proprietary, Ltd., Wellington. Included with the publication are three excellent plates entitled "Saluting the Admiral," " The s Happy Alother," "Sweethearts."
