Jt was resolved to request the Mayors of Hokitika, Greymouth and Kamara to proclaim a public holiday on show day.

It was also decided to ask the following gentlemen to kindly give their services in carrying oat the programme of events: Marshal of ihow, 0. C. Empson ; Judge of Horses and Cattle, W. Messrs James and William Baxter, of Eokere, were elected members of the Association.

It was resolved to ask Mr Oxenham, of Koiterangi, to arrange and drive exhibits intended for competition to and from' the show and that Mr Jones be asked for the use of his paddocks on the occasion.

It was ftUo resolved to request Mr EMatthews to accept a seat on the Executive Committee and give bis services in classing stock for judging;

Other matten were dealt with and the meeting terminated.
