COMMITTEE MEETING

A meeting of the Committee of, the Hukitika Trotting Club was held at the Post Office Hotel last evening, Mr A Stevenson occupying the chair. It was resolved to hold the annual trotting meeting on Wednesday April 15th (Easter week,) and the. following programme was drawn up :—: — Maiden handicap trot of 5 soys, ooe mile. Open Handicap trot, of 12 aovs, one mile. Pony Flat Handicap of 5 soys, five furlonge. Westland Handicap r. trot of 25 soys; two miles. Local. District Handicap Trot, (for approved borsea of tradesmen, settlers, and othe s of the Westland County) one mile. , Autumn Handicap Trot, of 20 sots, 1$ miles. Final Handicap Trot, of 15 sots, one mile. The stakes amount to £90, and it wa9 resolved to Sx entries for all event* for Monday, April stb, and to declare baudicaps for Tuesday, April 14th,
