FIGHTING IN EAST AFRICA ANOTHER VICTORY. [press association.] (Received May 10, at 9 a.m.) London, May 9. News has been received that Lieut-Col. Evatt, in charge of the Indian tioops in Uganda, in Soudan, and who was accompanied by the Nagarda auxiliaries, has met the rebels under Kabarega, the slave hunting King of Uuyora, with whom Wanga, the exiled King of Uganda had ta' en refuge, on the east bank of the Nile. Evatt defeated them, killing 300 and capturing Kabarega and Wanga. Evatt lost 2 killed and 20 wounded.
