Joseph Lasies, Nationalist member for Gers, alleged that Freycinet and Delcasse were at variance over the testimony of Paleologue, an official of the Foreign Office, before the Court of Cassation. Dupuy denied this. A vote of confidence in the Government was carried by a large majority.
