WOOL AND SKIN SALES.
Murray, Roberts & Co report as follows: — ' gWe submitted a catalogue of 1500 crossbred skins and 1000 merinos at today's fortnightly sale. Prices showed no change from last sale and compare favorably with present values of wool. Good full woolled crossbreds sold readily at 5d per lb with an occasional 5Jd for vfery prime lots. Good dead skins sold up to 4Jd damaged and inferior at 3d to 3|d. Good merinos at 4d to 4£d. This" season's pelts, well saved, sold at Cd to 7d and lamb skins at 6d to 9d each.
We only offered a few oddments of wool and these changed hands at market rates.
Our next skin sale will take place on Wednesday, 29th December.
