Diseases of the Skin. Universal approbation has been awarded to this famous Ointment for its efficiency in removing diseases of the skin. For scrofula, scurvy, scald heads, and all eruptions of tha skin, no remedy can equal it. To soldiers, Bailors, miners, and travellers in foreign , lands, it is invaluable. Sores, Wounds, Bad Breasts, Ulcerated Legs. In this class of maladies, an improvement rapidly follows the first dressing with the Ointment. : It must nob only be applied to the wou ) ni or sore, but be briskly rubbed in around the diseased, swollen or painful parts. Th" effect of the Ointment is increased by fomenting with warm water before the Oi>it ment is rubbed in ; lut the surface of sorti;. when healing, should never be cleaned jrith sponge or anything else. Rheumatism, Gout, Stiff Joints. Everyone suffering from these painful j affections should use this Ointment, as it has relieved thousands from torture, after every other means had been fruitless. The Ointment should be well rubbed into the skin at least twice a day, after it has bean fomented with warm salt and water and dried. The pain gradually abates, and A cure aoon follows. Glandular Swellings, Bronchitis, Sore Throat, and Quinsey. To combat these diseases with auccesa, ( penetrating remedies are necessary. Such 1 are Holloway's Ointment aud Pills. When rubbed on the skin, the former penetrates to the glands, and removes any oretruotion or impurity which may be impeding their healthy action. This Ointment acts on the very mainspring of life, for through the glands pass all reparative matters ; in all the above class of cases, the Ointment and Pills, used conjointly, will act sosearohingly and certainly, as to effect cures in the moat deplorable case*.
