At Mr H. D. Bell's installation as Mayor he said from the returns he had obtained he was confident they had an anxious and difficult year*before them. The overdraft would be £15,000 next March, as against £1050 last March. He intended to lay proposals before the Counoil which, he hoped, would place, thd finances on a more satisfactory basis.
