The Board met at 2.10 pan. Present — The Chief Commissioner (Mr Murray), Messrs Bevan, Matheson, and .Vorthcrof t.
The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed.
The Chief Commissioner said he had interviewed the Hon. the Premier with reference to the Midland Railway reservation and Mr Seddon said there was no early prospect of the reservation being lifted.

Memo from Under-Secretary of Lands, with regard to a communication from W H. Batson in re accommodation house for tourists and invalids at Waibo river. — Received.
From same, notifying that the Hon. Minister has approved of the recommendation of the Land Board, under the Pastoral Tenants Relief Act, 1895.—Received.
From same, forwarding a memorial addressed to the Minister of Lands by Elizabeth Baird and other holders of sections on the Kanieri township reserve, in which they represent that the sections they have leased have been vdued too highly. — Received.
Mr Blick asked, on behalf of the Teremakau special settlers, whether anything had been done in reference to the Bill drafted and approved by th* Board with the object ot giving the settlers relief —The Board said the Bill had not been introduced. They suggested the settlers should petition the House through the member for the district.
The Receiver of Land Revenue reported the following receipts for the period, viz. Ordinary Land Revenue, £49 15s 2d; Midland Railway revenue, £24 4s Bd. Total, £73 19 10s.— Received. The Board then adjourned.
