The five mile championship was decided here on Saturday— Smith, Brisbane, 1 ; Tuner, Melbourne, 2 ; Marsden, Sydney, 3. Won easily. Time, Imin 56secs.
London, Aug. 1.
In the England v. Australia cycling race the former won by 18 points, including the mile and five mile races. Lewis, Payne, and Meejson were easily defeated, but the last named was cheered for his plucky riding.
