London, Aug. 1. In the second innings against Earl De la Warr's eleven the Australians were dismissed for 138. The chief scores were:— Trott, 19; Hill, 16; Donnan, 13; Graham, 21; Darling, 4L The Home team, requiring 117 runs to win secured them with the loss of aix wickets and won by i wickets.

Trott took|2 wickets for 36 and Giffen 4 for 35.

During the match Australians v De la Warr's team the wicket remained soft in the first innings of the Home team. Stoddart scored 26; Douglas, 18; Carpenter 14: and M'Gahey 17 in their second innings. Douglas was again to the fore and played a brilliant forcing game. He made a few dangerous strokes but rattled up 68 and had the hard luck to- lose his wicket when his side only wanted 10 to win.

In the second innings of the Australians Daaling, who had played a vigorous innings was taken from a long drive The score at this time was 56. Giffen went at 61. Graham at 81.
