Sydney, Nov, 15.
Tbe Sydney Morning Herald, in an article referring to attempts to alter national education in New Zealand, says, the probability is one of the issues of next election will be denominational versus national education. The result of tbe contest is watched with considerable interest in Australasia, and the Herald predicts national education will emerge from the conflict essentially unaltered but better adapted to its great misßion.
Melbourne, Nov. 15.
A Loan Bill is expected to brought down for between £3,000,000 and £5,000,000 for railway works. Tbe Stock Conference has ended. Brisbane, Nov 15. Parliament has been prorogued to the end of the year.

Mr Gillies' deliberate judgment is that the, gri a'est hope of a larger federation becoming a fact in the near future lies in working the means of ?raa l^r fedeiation which we have in our bauds.
