IN pursuance of •• The Emulation ol Elections Act, 1881," I, JAMES M'ENNIS, Eeturning Officer for the Electoral District of Kumara, do heraby eive notice that by virtue of a writ bearing date 27th day of June, 1884, under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an ELECTION will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as member for the said electoral district, and the NOMINATION of CANDIDATES will take place at the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse, KUMARA, at NOON on TUESDAY, the Fifteenth day of July, 1884, and that tbe POLL if necessary, will be taken at the several polling places of the said district, on TUESDAY, the 22nd day of July, 1884.
