Lizzie Guy. The Mahinapua leaves Duaedin on Wednesday next for West Coast ports, calling at Oamam, Ljttelton and Wellington. She will sail on her rei urn voyage on Monday, 22nd inst. The Waipara will, as usnal, connect with her at Greymouth. The Waipara 13 expected to return from her southern trip to-morrow. The Wallace is dus here this day from northern ports, and is announced to leave to-morrow oa her return trip. Tbe Kennedy is due ht>re on Tuesday, and leaves agaiu the following day. The Eiibanls Casile and Wanganui left Greymouth on Fridiy, coal laden, for Dnnedin. Captain Williams, of the Kennedy, has gone for a holiday to New, South Wales. Captain Bruce takes his place wiih Mr Ifaul at) chief officer. Captain Fdrnean is in charge of the WallacP: The ajagnificient steamer British King, 3559 tons, belonging; to the New Zealand Shipping Company, the pioneer of a monthly direct line of steamers to New Zealand, is appointed to leave London ,on January 20th inst., for Wellington and Lyttelton, and is expected ta make tbe passage in 45 days. She will bp despatched on her return voyage on or about. March 31st, via Straits of Magellan. Early application for passages of all classes is requested to be made at the office of the local agent Mr Bonar, from whom full particulars can be obtained The Britirh Queen, Bteamer, 355!: tons, will follow the above on or about April 30th, and ifc is intended that other first class steamers shall sail at regular monthly intervals from one of the principal ports in tbe colony
