A ROMAN CATHOLIC PASTORAL LETTER. MORE PLOTTING AT ST. PETERS BUItG. SERIOUS AFFRAY IN MARSEILLES BETWEEN FRENCH and ITALIANS. London, Juno 20. The Rev. Edward M'Cabe, Roman Catholic Archbishop of DubliD, has issued a pastoral letter to the bishops and clergy of his diocese, urging the adoption of a moderate policy by ihe people, and impressing upon them the necessity of abstaining from acts of violence.

Some mine was discovered by the police to-day. Investigations are being made, with a view to discover persons concerned in its construction, but up to the present time no definite information has transpired.

Telegrams to hand from Marseille? report that further disturbances between the citizens and Italian resident ß have taken place there.
Serious riots occurred to-day at tho landing of another detachment of troops from Tunisian territory, who on their march through town, were insulted and ill'treated by some of tho Italians, The townspeople retaliated and arras were freely used, and many persons were killed and wounded before order could be restored.
