A SLOW COACH.
(To the Editor.) Sir, — I observe by your paper this lnoruiug, that you give credit to Mi 1 Newcomen's coach with having made the iourney, between Christchurch and Hokitika, iti three days and ten hours. This statement is incorrect, inasmuch as the said coach left (. hristchurch on Thusday last, and left Springfield ou Friday, arriving in HoUitika only on the following Wednesday. The paragraph is, also, equally inaccurate as to the number of passengers conveyed by the same conveyance. I am, &c, Abthur Davies. Hokitika, September 23.
