CATASTROPHE IN THE CHANNEL.
Of three German ironclads, proceeding to Gibraltar, two collided this morning off Folkestone. One sank, supposed to be the King William. Four hundred men were aboard, of which number eighteen were saved.
THE MONEY MARKET. The Bank rate is reduced to two and a half.
