A STORMY PASSAGE. Port Chalmers, May 25.

The ship Electra arrived last night, after 130 days passage from London. She encountered terrific gales on leaving the English Channel, and lost a spar, anchor, and sails. While crossing the Southern Ocean she met a terrific gale from S.W. to N,W. The sea broke on board, filling the decks, stove in the bulwarks, and did other damage. Several sails were blown away. She brings eight passengers and 800 tons of cargo.
