OXYttEN IS LlFE.— Although the modern Materia Medica includes nany valuable remedies for human afllic;ions, itis a matter of certainty that in all :ases where the animal vitality is failing, Phosphorus is decidedly superior to every ither remedy at present known. The question naturally presents itself, " Why is so valuable an element so little regarded and so seldom prescribed?"
