RECHABITE MEETING.
Nelson, February 19. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Central District Order of Rechabites was held last uight. Present — Twenty-one meinberH from all parts of the colony. The report showed that seven new lodges were opened last year, five in Otago, one in Christchurch, and one in Hawke's Bay ; also juvenile temple in connection with agents at Wanganui, Saudon, and Waipawa ; increase of members during the year, 280. The treasurer's report showed the total sick and funeral fund, £249,1 ; contingent fund, £222 ; total tent and district funds, £3495, being an increase during the year ot £86 ; to 33 sick members £273 had been paid.
