LEARMONTII AND CO. . having received instructions from Messis Cassidy and Clarke, who are dissolving partnership, will sell on the premises, known as the Australasian Hotel, Revell-street, Hokitika, on Thursday, 28th February, at 11 o'clock sharp, without the slightest reserve, in the following order : — 1, The Australasian Hotel, erected on freehold sections, Nos. 4, 8, and 124, corner of Eevell-street and Gibson's Quay. This property is so well known and favorably situated that it requires no comment from the Auctioneers, as it is, without doubt, one of the best hotel stands in Hokitika, and to intending purchasers the fact must not be lost sight of, that the intended expenditure of £25,000 on river protective works, is to commence within a few yards of the hotel front door, the tenders for which are to be called for immediately the plans are approved of by the Government.
