Catch weights. Entrance 5s RULES AND REGULATIONS. Night of general entry, Nov. 13th 1876. In all selling races the winner shall be sold, yith his engagements. Any surplus above the celling price ah nil belong to the Westland Racing Club ; and any horse in such selling iace, though not a winner, may, at the request of any person made to the Steward within fifteen minutes of weighing the first horse, be put up to auction in the same way as the winner, the upset, price to the amount at which he is to be sold, together with the added money, any surplus lo belong to the Westland Racing Club. No entry will be received for any of the races except on this condition — that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing s-hall be decided by the Stewards, or those whom they may appoint. Their decisions upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. All entiies to be' sealed and addressed to the Secretary ; entrance money and qualification enclosed, with the nnme, age, and pedigree of lite horse, name of the owner, and colovsof the rider, and delivered not later than eight p.m., on Monday, 13th November, s»t the Cafe de Paris. Any jockey ridisg except in the colors entered will be fiued two sovg. The qualification fee must be paid by each owner of horse or horses, on the following scale, viz : — For one or more events, under £50, £1 ; for £50 and under £100, £2. ; for £100 and over, £3 ; but said fees not to be accumulative. Subscribers of s£3 and over are not required to pay fee or qualification. A fine of ten shillings will be imposed on all horses that are not at the post on the second riuging of the Bell for starting. Three horst must enter for each event, or the public money will cot be given. Marcs allowed Slbs, geldings 3lbs, throughout the year, Stakes naid less 5 per cent. W. J. BLAKE, Secretary
