''^Wellington, Warijjanui, Tevebenton, Grey-. town, iviarton. Picton, Blenheim, Havelocc Cliristchurch, Lytteltou, Kaiapoi, Timaru Akaroa, Waimate, Dunedin, Clyde, Law rence, Arrow River. Manuherika, Queens town, Oiunaru, Tokomairirp, Port Chal raers, Waikouaiti, Balcluthn, -West Taieri Hamilton's, Invercargill, Rivertpn and Campbelltnwu. 1. The rate of postage on ail letters, isc, is regulated by weight, the Colonial rate commencing at half an ounce, and increasing by the half ounce after the first ounce. All postages and fees must be prepaid by New Zealand postage stamps. A letter posted wholly unpaid, or with stamps affixed to it of less than a single rate of postage, the letter will he detained, and dealt with as detained letters. A letter liable to more than one rate of postage, and addressed to any place within the Colony, Great Britain or the Colonies of Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, and Western Australia, prepaid with one rate at least, will be forwarded, and . the deficiency collected on delivery ; but a letter addressed to any other Colony, or Toreign Country, if not fully prepaid, will, bej" detained. . -..'.... Letters containing coin, addressed to any place witliin the Colony, or the United Kingdom, and which have not been registered, will be subjected to compulsory registration, and charged double registration fee, payable on delivery. • - v Any letter or book, packet which exceeds two feet in length, or twelve inches in breadth or depth, or three pounds in weight cannot be forwarded by post.
