Every adult emigrant will be required, before embarkatio , to pay, unless specially remitted by the Agent -General, 20s (.and'cbildreii in proportion), for bedding, blankets, and, mess utenila. The cost of ■ conveyance ta the port (unless the Ageat-Geueral a-iree* to pay it), and to the residence ot" their friends after arrival in the Colony, must he defrayed by the emig- ants .themselves. It is to be distinctly understood, that notwithstanding the applications-are forwarded to the Agent-General by the Immigra:ion Officers, the Agent-General in Lond n may refuse passages where the _ intending emigrant- are in ill-health, or in any way .unfitted, according to his judgment, to emigrate. The Regulations, issued upon 21st April. 1873 for the paymen: of bonuses to the nominators upon the arrival of- the nominated ' immigrants, are hereby, rescinded; and no cerificates for the payment, of such bonuses will be given after the date hereol'.J These Regulations come into force on the 20ih October, 1873. 1654 d
