The wet weather of yesterday very much retarded the loading of the Isabella with timber. If the weather should hold up she will, in all probability, be ready » to tow out for Dunedin by the Lioness on Sunday next.

The Kennedy arrived in harbor on yesterday morning's tide. She is last from Westport, which port she left on Wednesday night at 7.30 p.m. Captain Conway states haying experienced, on Monday night, extremely heavy weather, accompanied with vivid lightning and heavy thunder and rain, whilst op his trip down to Westport. She brought a few Chinese passengers and a small quantity of cargo for this port. She will leave for Greymouth and Nelson at 7 a.m. to-day.

The schooner Bencleuch was towed to sea yesterday morning bound for Dunedin, by the steamer Titan. The wind being favorable for-making the passage South about Captain Henry headed his vessel on that course.

The schooner Lizzie Guy finished taking in timber last evening. She will be towed to sea this morning by the Titan. Captain Houston has used great expedition in taking in her cargo.

The Garibaldi did not tow out yesterday, the wind being unfavorable for her making a passage to Westport. The change of weather which appeared to be taking place yesterday afternoon will probably enable her to proceed to sea this morning.
