RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Breach of the Destitute PtßsoNs' Ordinance. — William Kilner was charged with refusing to obey an order of the Resident Magistrate's Court, for the support of hi 9 three children. Mr Button appeared for the defendant. His Worship made an order to date from the 12th inst., the date on which detendant was discharged f.om the Supreme Court.
CIVIL CASES.
Whale v. Perkins. — Mr Harvey appeared for defendant, and asked for a remand, as his client had gone to Hunt's Beach, and would not return for some time. The case was adjourned, by consent, until the 7th October. Glynn and Ingle v. Garland.— A claim for £5 15s 7d. Judgment was given by default.
King and Co. v, Kirby. — Amount of £9 for groceries supplied. Judgment was given by default Hay and M'Kellar j. Dougherty. — A claim for 10s for advertising in the Even' ing Star. Judgment was given by default,
Gawne and Co. V. Lockharti— A claim for £2 10s for goods supplied. Judgment was given by default. Gawne v. Caulfield.— £3 5s lOd due on an acceptance. Judgment by default.
Apple v. Flower. — A claim for £2 17s for services rendered as a veterinary surgeon. Judgment was given by default. Kennedy v. Nancarris. — Claim for .£9. Judgment by consent. Kennedy v. Penny. — A claim for £10 88 9d. Judgment by consent. Simon v. Morgan and Grant. — A claim for £3 13s. Grant was ordered to pay the amount sued for by weekly instalments of £1 each.
Wood9ide v. Mills. — A claim for £5 14s 9d. Defendant was ordered to pay £1 per week to the Clerk of the Court at Stafford. The Court was then adjourned until eleven o'clock to-day.
