There has been a firmer feeling in imports daring the week, aud fuller prices are expected. We still quote flour at £19 to £1 n 10s; stocks have slightly increased. Butter is in demand, but no decided alteration in prices has taken place, Is to Is id being still the quotation for good. Potatoes are getting Bcarce, the local grown being now nearly consumed, and it is expected that, a further advance will take place. Bacon and hams are firmer, and a very fair lot of Canterbury cured, recently imported, command Is 2d per Ib. In kerosene, prices are easier and stocks increasing. Best brands of condensed milk are in demand, and lGs arc readily obtained for parcels. Wines and spirits, &c, arc without change. A very healthy feeling pervades the market, and during the week we have no failures to report.
