The s.s. Kennedy sails from Nelson on the evening of the SCtb instant for this port. She would in all probability arrive at Westport yesterday, in which case she may be expected to cross the bar early this morning. The Kennedy will most likely be despatched to-night for the northern ports, as* far as Nelson, transhipping passengers at the latter port for Manukau. The °.s Omeo sailed from Port Chalmers for Lyttelton on the 30th instant, at 1 p.m., and would most likely arrive there yesterday about the same hour. Thence she sails for ■Wellington, and readies the West Coast via Nelson. The Omeo, being advertised to sail for Melbourne on the Bth instant, has therefore, it will be seen, plenty of time to kpep her engagements at this port.
