Notice** THAMES. SHARES INVESTMENT ASSOCIATION, IN 10,000 SHARES OF ss. EACH. WITH a view to assisting the Funds- : of the DIGGERS' HOSPITAL, at the Thames, it has been determined to aubmit to the public the subjoined List of Mining Shares' in some of tne best Claims on the Thames Goldfield, on which all calls upon date will be paid. Applications for tickets will be received in Auckland, by the Honorary Secretary, Mr WiiSjam James Dalton, at his offices, High-street ; and by Messrs Dalton and Holmes, Grahamstown, Thames; and by Messrs Bloxham and Learmonth, Revellstreet, Hokitika. Letters containing applications for tickets must be accompanied by cheques or postoffice" order for the amount, or, if money is "enclosed, should be registered, and tickets-will be forwarded by return post. Ten per . cent, of the gross proceeds of the sale of ticket's will be retained by the - Honorary Treasurer, Mr Von Sturmee, who has kindly, consented to act in that capacity, and will be handed over to the Committee of the Thames Hospital on behalf of the funds of that institution immediately after the drawing of the prizes, which will take place under the supervision of a committee to be appointed by the members subscribing, then present. A list of the successful numbers will he pubHihed. Two gentlemen will be appointed by the Hospital Committee to' audit the accounts on behalf of the Hospital.
